01.In a nutshell. At Facebook, I led the redesign of the Actions Rollback tool, built to help policy and operations teams safely reverse automated enforcement decisions. The existing process relied heavily on engineers, slowing down time-sensitive workflows. I introduced a self-serve interface with clear rollback controls, validation steps, and guardrails, enabling non-technical users to confidently take action. Post-launch, rollback request times dropped by 43%, dependency on engineering support was reduced by over 60%, and tool adoption among policy teams increased by 35% within the first quarter — significantly improving both speed and trust in the enforcement review process.
02.Rollback.
From the media detail page, internal teams can select specific enforcement actions, review the associated media, contact the original reviewer if needed, and initiate a rollback — all within a single, streamlined flow.
03.Status Rolling content can take a while so we needed to claerly communicate the satus of each rollback
04.Viewing elements
Some content can be highly explicit, so it’s blurred by default for safety. We also needed to account for how enlarged versions of these images would appear in modals, ensuring clarity, context, and responsible presentation.
