01.In a nutshell. At Revolut, I led the design of a new QR code payments feature, enabling users to send and receive money instantly by scanning a unique code — no phone number or bank details required. Aimed at simplifying peer-to-peer payments in person (e.g., at cafés or splitting bills), the flow was built for speed and ease. I designed the end-to-end experience, from the scan interaction to confirmation states, ensuring accessibility and trust throughout. We A/B tested the feature and saw a 7% increase in completed transfers during in-person transactions. The feature launched with strong internal backing and helped position Revolut as a more versatile, everyday payments platform.
